Special awards

The club would like to mark its appreciation to Malcolm Poynter who has been instrumental in our gaining three prestigious FA awards this season:
  • FA Charter Standard
  • Kent County FA Adult Charter Standard Club of the Year
  • Kent County FA Charter Standard Administrator of the Year (Vic Farrow)
Here Malcolm is seen receiving a voucher for bowls equipment from club president Ian Couchman.
Danny Saines is standing down after four years as the Second XI manager due to family commitments. Everyone at the club would like to thank Danny for all his hard work culminating in a third place finish and possible promotion to the SLA Premier Division next season. Danny assures us we will see him on the other side of the touchline for the Vets next season!

Second XI captain Sam Evans presented Danny with a tankard and restaurant voucher from the squad.
