Despite a totally incompetent referee who spoiled the enjoyment of players and supporters we picked up two valuable points.
The opposition took full advantage, getting away with bookable tackles, swearing and repeatedly calling the referee a cheat!
To our credit we managed to keep our composure, even Dave Power kept his head for an hour, that's a bonus. A typical game that we have lost so often in the past.
Paul Tant scored our first after an agressive run through their defence, after about 15 minutes. We kept the lead and controlled the game as the opposition slowly lost their rag.
With half an hour to go Jason Bailey, and Des Lindsay replaced the two Daves in midfield. Jason looked very comfortable at left back and Des scored the all important second goal.
We created quite a few more chances but did not score. Don't change your game, the goals will come, be patient and keep sharing the ball about.
Another clean sheet was a bonus, keep it up.
