Not very often do we get to see a win, especially one in which we made it look so hard. The score line was fair, we dominated the game, passed well as a team and everybody wanted the ball, which is a good sign of the self-confidence in the team.
We were allowed onto the big pitch, and stressed the importance of getting wide and using our two wide men to break down the opposition. Tom Hughes had a fantastic game on the left and got the goal his hard work deserved. He broke the deadlock with a lovely goal, stepping inside his man and tucking away a nice shot in the bottom corner. His hard working display down the left hand side earnt him a well deserved man of the match performance, well done Tom!!
I can''t really remember much else of the game, I know Liam scored a very well taken goal, Jack finished nicely, and Djan finally got a goal - after trying from everywhere on the pitch including the halfway line!
We could have scored more and probably should have.
Thanks to Mark Edwards and Jack Harding for coming down and helping us out.
Not sure if we have one last game this weekend. If we do I hope all involved with the 4th team at some point will come down. We will meet at the Club at 6pm for a few jars of ''boom before going onto Bromley for some food. I hope all players will attend!!!!!!
