Player ratings out of 10

GK - Gary Rosslee, 3
Worse than Clunn this week…….enough said!

LB - Matt Wright, 6.
Not his greatest of games, gave away possession far too many times!

CB - Rowan Foggitt, 8
Ever dependable at the back and chipped in with a goal after gambling on a goalkeeping error. (There was plenty of them today)

CB – Andy Cobham, 7.
Made some vital blocks, needs to talk a bit more though!

RB – Brett Cheesman, 9. MOM
Set up 4 goals, (should have been 5) and even had a hissy row with St John second half!

LM – Ben Clunge, 4.
Scored a trademark goal from a matter of inches out and should have scored a second goal but smashed his effort straight at the Vyagra keeper. Didn’t fall over this week!

CM- Jim St John, 8,
Excellent performance today and ended his goal drought by scoring not 1, not 2, but 3 goals! Needless argument with Cheesman second half!

CM - Dean Murphy, 8.
Another energetic performance and definitely broke a sweat!

CM - Dean Wyatt, 7
Robust and physical in the middle of the park, was initially down as sub but as Redmond was late he was given a place in the starting XI.

RM – Neil (Nick) Pearce, 7
Solid display and linked up well with Cheesman on the right hand side.

CF- Si Davies, 8.
Played the lone striker role today and worked tirelessly. Rounded off his solid performance with a well taken individual goal.

Subs

John Redmond, 7
Was due to start but was late to the ground (some say sabotage by D Wyatt?) solid second half.

Match summary,

Without any disrespect to today’s opposition the victory was never in any doubt as we had recorded an impressive 34 goals in 6 games against them. Farnborough will however be disappointed not to have recorded a clean sheet, and this was down to some individual errors (most notably Rosslee in the Farnborough goal) we did play some good attacking football today and made use of the extra man in midfield. I personally think we need to adopt the same system for next week’s game against Charlton Rangers who’s smallest player is about the same size as St John! We are in a rich vein of form right now having won 6 games on the spin averaging over 4 goals a game which should be enough to win any match regardless of which team is in front of us!

Man of the match: Brett Cheesman
