Player ratings out of 10

GK - Gary Rosslee, 9 MOM
Commanded his area bravely and pulled off a vital save with the scores at 2-2. Unlucky with both goals!

LB –Friendinho, 7
Won every aerial battle, solid game.

CB- Rowan Foggitt, 8
Good to have back at the heart of defence, composed as ever.

CB- Andy Cobham, 8
Another great contribution at centre back.

RB- Neil Pearce, 7
Wasn’t exposed by Clunge this week, and had a decent game, linked up well with John Redmond second half.

LM- Paul Tanton, 7
Maybe should have squared an earlier opportunity that was dealt with the keeper but did well to set up Barry Grainger for the opener!

CM- Jim St John, 8
Scored 2 headers today, but should have had at least 4 goals, not often he’ll play against bigger oppo!

CM- Dean Murphy, 7
May feel frustrated by today’s match, as he probably should have had a bigger impact but worked his socks off as per usual.

RM- Ben Clunn, 4
Fell over, didn’t score, and should have cleared their second goal off of the line!

CF- Pete Harvey, 6
Another frustrating performance, clearly not gelling with his forward counterpart just yet ;)

CF, Barry Grainger, 8
Scored the Farnborough opener, set up St John for the equaliser and coolly converted a penalty, a decent all round performance!

Subs

Simon Davies, 6
Needs to buy some Shower Gel!

Matt Wright, 6
Rosslee saved his blushes early in the second half, but had a solid 45 never the less!

John Redmond, 8
Set up St John for the 2rd goal with an exquisite cross, and worked tirelessly for 45 minutes.

Neil Connelly, 7
Showed no signs of ring rust and scored a trademark cross/shot! Terrible almonds though!

Match summary,
As per last week we made hard work of today’s match. The opposition were difficulty to break down early on and resembled a rugby team rather than a football team at the best of times however I think our fitness got us the result in the end! We tried to play the ball about on what is fair to say not one the “greatest of pitches” and scored some very well worked team goals.
