The last of 5 straight away games saw us slip to another defeat against a side who we comfortably beat in the season opener. A good early goal from Hussey after a swift team move was quickly cancelled out by Blackheath. Shortly before half time Blackheath took the lead after some more disappointing defending, although their joy was short lived as debutant Lenton scored direct from the kick off, embarrassing the Blackheath keeper who was still busy celebrating his team\'s goal!
The second half only ever saw one team in it with the Guild looking tired and Blackheath growing stronger. With about twenty minutes to go the home side grabbed two quick goals and held out to win 4-2. Overall a disappointing result with Blackheath adapting better to the tight bumpy pitch and ultimately seeming a lot more up for it!
