Here's a brief look at the goals from Saturday's win at Otford. Manager Darren Burkett admitted it wasn't one of the best performances of the season and it was only conceding a goal that forced us out of second gear. The full set of pictures is available for view in our gallery.
12 minutes: 0-1. Michael Bishop gets the first of a headed hat-trick from a Barry Cleaver cross. This photo doubles as a "spot the ball" competition. |
57 minutes: 1-1. Otford's equaliser is controversial as Georgie Belchamber clears acrobatically but assistant Derek Cunningham rules the ball had crossed the line. |
76 minutes: 1-2. Michael's second, direct from brother Mark's huge throw-in. |
78 minutes: 1-3. Almost a carbon copy of the second goal, but this time Mark's throw had been flicked on (by whom?). |
83 minutes: 1-4. Barry Cleaver's hooked effort puts a somewhat flattering gloss on the scoreline. |
