NEWS
Weekend Round-up: 13/14 September
The First XI's home cup match was postponed as opponents South East Athletic were suspended by their county association.
Both Saturday Vets teams had encouraging wins on the road.
Ben Tomkins' Saturday Vets finally recorded a victory against Seymour Villa Vets at the fifth attempt. Goals from Joe Slater, Lloyd Miller, Lawrence Thompson and Gary Harrigan contributed to an all-round good performance leaving the final score at 4-1.
The Saturday Vets Reserves got their first ever three points with a 2-0 win at Eversley Rangers Vets. Liam Burchett and Alex Barnes (of course!) were on target.
The Sunday XI began their league campaign with a goalless draw at home to FC Bickley. No real surprise as last season's league matches between the two teams finished 1-1 and 0-0.
The Sunday WESFA XI scored four away to Advent Mighty Royals in the league but conceded six! Charlie Killick hit a double, with Ben Coleman and Jojo Howell also finding the net.
The Red Vets went down 3-0 against AFC Greenwich Vets at Farrow Fields.
The Yellow Vets won 4-0 away to Riverside Wanderers, with two from Jack Loizou and one each from Jordan Brown and Paulino Kowalski.
The Under 15s Boys were given a really tough start to the season by the fixtures gods. After last week's visit from Ebbsfleet United Reds, serial winners Maidstone United came to Farrow Fields and won 3-0.
The Under 13s Mustangs had a friendly on Saturday at home to Chislehurst Glebe Pumas, and are looking to move on from that result!
The Under 10s Stallions and the Under 9s Foals met in a pre-season friendly.
