How ever did we drop a point against this mob earlier in the season and concede 4 goals? God only knows. Anyway that was history, we look to the future now.

Despite another well below average Referee and mixed bunch of psychiatric opposition we controlled the match with another fine team effort. Time and time again we got behind their defence Gary, Terry and Graham all using the ball well when they did so. Terry picked up two goals one a solo effort and one from close range. Gary scored a good headed goal to make it 3-0 at half time.

Half time gave us time to compose ourselves as the Referee had started to lose control and Psycho's tablets were wearing off.

The second half was a matter of keeping control of our heads and the game, we did admirably. Gary bagged his second with the goal of the game drawing the keeper and executing a class finish.

Generally our composure was excellent and our set pieces including corners were much improved. Both Terry and Gary were more than disappointed being subbed before chalking up hat-tricks. I hope to prove by the end of the season that the team is more important than individual achievements.

I expect everyone to be disappointed at being made sub or subbed during a match. I also hope that on reflection they realise everyone cannot play all the time and that the decisions are made for the benefit of the team and the Club.
Anyway here endeth the sermon, well done to one and all and thanks for the support on training nights.
