The youth team lost in the final yesterday 1-2 to Purley Panthers at the tournament in Merstham. Ricky Stevens got our goal.
1st round results were
* Wandle Wanderers 0-0 FOBG Youth
* FOBG Youth 0-0 Langley Park
* Hamsey Rangers 0-2 FOBG Youth (Lee Myatt and Danny Holmes)
This made us top of the group and took us into the final against Purley who are always top of the A division and a very good outfit. The performances yeserday were much improved on the previous friendly and we had a few more players back from holiday which helped. Finishing runners-up was a decent achievement we feel.
We are playing again this Sunday against Lewisham Youth at home ko 10.30 in another friendly.
